OppOFutures

For employers

Meet the people training for your sector, properly

Structured, timetabled contact with students at colleges and universities, followed up for three months and evidenced afterwards.

3,000–5,000

students aged 16 to 24 expected across two Careers Days at our founding site

College planning figure, not confirmed attendance

4 sessions

Every partner attends both days and all four sessions, at every level.

Why it is different

A stand must be something a student can do

Not something a student can collect. A stand works if a student can walk up and do something within thirty seconds: handle a piece of kit, attempt a task, be timed at something, or take a challenge with a result at the end.

A table, a banner and a bowl of pens does not work. Students walk past it, and the engagement figures we return to you will say so. We are glad to help you think it through.

Engineer mentoring an apprentice beside solar panels

A cohort already committed

Students aged 16 to 24 from industry-relevant training programmes, meeting employers who carry real, current vacancies and apprenticeship openings.

Evidence, not footfall

Every level receives attendance and engagement figures and expressions of interest. Higher levels add named leads, confidence survey results and destination tracking.

Matched by fit, not footfall

Students register interest on the day and are matched through an independent recruitment process. Placements are included in the contribution.

Ways to take part

Three levels, and no rate card

A rate card prices floor space. What the levels buy is how deeply you are built into the programme, and what you take away afterwards. Every level is present for the whole event. The participation levels document sets out the full detail.

Which level fits, and what space and support it needs. Tell us what you can realistically resource: an under-resourced Full programme is worse than a well-run Engage.
