OppOFutures

The programme

Three days, then three months

Not a careers fair. Programmed days built around taking part, and follow-up that lasts.

Something to do

A stand must be something a student can do, not something a student can collect. Every partner is briefed to that standard.

Five zones, four sessions

Live demonstrations, hands-on activity, one-hour skills breakouts, Q&A panels and a recruitment zone. Students rotate and meet several employers.

Independent facilitation

We recruit, brief and manage every partner and run the days, so your staff stay with your students.

Live roles and evidence

Real vacancies and apprenticeships with an independent recruitment process, and an evidence pack within 30 days.

Veteran speaking to college students

How a programme runs

  1. 01

    One Motivational Speaker Day

Injured veterans from The OppO Foundation, who have rebuilt careers after life-changing injury, speak on confidence, resilience, wellbeing and aspiration.

  2. 02

    Two Careers Days

Timetabled, hands-on experiences across four session slots, with up to 5,000 students aged 16 to 24 expected at our founding site.

  3. 03

    Three months of follow-up

Fortnightly online sessions bring students and employers back together, with two monitored inboxes.

  4. 04

    The evidence pack

Attendance, engagement, expressions of interest and confidence surveys within 30 days, then destinations at three and six months. You may verify any figure.
